Philippe Marquis, MA, LPC, LAC, DVCS
EMDR Trained

I have dedicated my career of more than twenty-five years to helping people find and create healing and hope. In sessions I help address and recast old narratives related to abuse and trauma, which is often multigenerational. I specialize in high-conflict relationships, particularly helping people whose history has led them undermine their owns happiness through their anger. My compassionate approach invites conversation and reconnection with core values and true aspirations in relationships. I use EMDR (trauma therapy) and other evidence-based practices to bring about relief and hope.

I am available for consultation, expert court testimony and complex evaluations related to intimate partner violence. I have conducted thousands of group-therapy sessions and domestic evaluations and with men and women. I have taught at the university level and am part of policy and community activism to improve access and equity in counseling services. I am an approved Domestic Violence Clinical Supervisor with the State of Colorado.

Alina Mitchell MA, LPC, LAC, DVOMB Clinical Supervisor
EMDR & Brainspotting Trained

I have been in the counseling field for over 10+ years and am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) as well as being trained in EMDR and Brainspotting to address a variety of issues, specifically trauma. My years of work have provided me with a distinct ability to focus on positive realistic solutions as I like to bring authenticity into the therapeutic space through laughter, compassion, and not being afraid to explore the parts of self that we keep hidden.

I immigrated to the United States in 1992 with my immediate family from Kiev, Ukraine. As a result of this huge transition, I feel that I have a unique perspective about the possibilities life has to offer and the challenges that can be overcome. I am passionate about traveling and would love to see the whole world and experience all the cultures, sights, and tastes it has to offer.

I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve the goals you desire!

Jordan Herselman MA, LPC, LAC, DVOMB Provider
Brainspotting Certified

"Play" has always been a place where I feel most alive, whether through physical activity, creativity, or connecting with others. Like so many people, the adventurous culture of Denver stole my heart. My favorite things to do all involve playing outdoors, preferably with my giant dog and the people I love. I believe that as humans, we all crave that sense of playfulness and freedom. I am passionate about supporting others to find their own sense of play to accomplish their goals and create the life they want.

My clinical experience has primarily involved working with adults and couples on issues with relationships, addiction, disordered eating, self-compassion, and depression/anxiety. My deeper focus is on trauma and its impact on our entire being (emotional, physical, spiritual, mental, etc). In my practice, I primarily use a modality called Brainspotting. It is the most incredible thing I have ever had the privilege of sharing with my clients.

I am a former college soccer player, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC). I am also trained in Brainspotting and other trauma techniques. Life is traumatic, and I am lucky to witness life-changing healing occur with trauma therapy and Brainspotting.

Amanda N. Hua, MA, LPC, DVOMB Approved Provider
EMDR & Brainspotting Trained

I've been passionate about nurturing and helping others since I was an eager 10-year-old, starting my own babysitting business. I have worked in various caretaking settings until I found myself volunteering for The Denver Hospice. Sitting with terminally ill clients through their journey lit a deeper fire within myself to learn all I could to help others reduce pain, increase connection, and find healing.

I have been in the traditional counseling field since 2016, working with individuals and in group therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting. I have walked alongside many clients through their journey of healing and am continuously in awe of the pursuit of healing our brain's seek. Having trained in different trauma modalities, I can tailor therapy to genuinely give you a unique counseling experience.

My passions include spending time with my family, crocheting, and reading psychological thrillers. During “free time” I spend time learning more about death, dying, and how to help those on their journeys out of this world die well.
