APPRENTICESHIP AT CHANG INC.

DIRECT CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IS THE CENTERPIECE OF A CHANGE INC. APPRENTICESHIP

Our apprentices are paid for supervised clinical work, while:

  • Participating in Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) and/or Domestic Violence (DV) certification classes, earning required credits

  • Facilitating individual sessions and group therapy for court ordered clients

  • Attending group and individual supervision

As an apprentice, students enrolled in our program accumulate required hours for CAS, LAC and/or toward a DV Approved Provider Certification.

A first year post-graduate apprentice will learn under a licensed trained professional the needed skills of working with forensic court-ordered individuals, in a supportive environment with a focus on ethics and quality of care.

Feedback on Change Inc. apprenticeships is overwhelmingly positive.

  • Being an integral part of the operations and administering of the program
