"When I started my Master's program I started looking at and researching various locations to apply for internship. National Institute for Change (NIC) quickly rose to the top due to their mission, quality of employees, and variety of services. I would listen to my peers and their experiences during their internships, all I could think is wow you are missing out on a lot. NIC's professional staff really takes the time to teach, train, and hone skills to prepare you for a profession in counseling both on the business and therapeutic sides. The quality of therapists and training at NIC is unmatched; I could not have dreamed of a better internship."
~Mary Aargon

"The supervision I received during this transformative time period seemed to be a perfectly designed mix of case conceptualization, treatment planning, ethics and self-discovery. As I have stepped into the role of clinician I am beginning to realize how much personal work I did during that time. I left feeling competent and supported in my case management and client conceptualization, and also confident in myself. Intertwined with my core values in therapy rather than an overwhelming set of rules that are constantly looming over my head. My supervisors helped me to discover my own skills, values, talents and gifts and then trained me to use those in a clinical setting."
